About

I'm an Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior at the National University of Ireland Maynooth. My research background and training have been heavily influenced by psychometrics, behavioral economics, and theories of leadership. I conduct research on three main topics, including anxiety, personality in the workplace, and leader-follower relationships. To do so, I use different methods including (natural) experiments, machine learning algorithms to infer traits and behavior based on social media data and traditional surveys.

If you are interested to find out more about my work, please feel free to take a look at my publication list.

If you wish to get in touch with me to discuss a potential collaboration or wish to discuss consulting demands I might be able to help with, please feel free to send me an email at jon.gruda@gmail.com.
